I've lived in London for 10 years, and have heard the many horror stories about landlords (and met a few myself). Thankfully, there are landlords like George out there. Landlords who actually care about both their property and their tenants. Landlords who do things right, because they know what they're doing. Landlords who are approachable and available, willing to listen, and always ready to help with a problem. Landlords who want to make sure that their tenants are happy in their home.

I have lived at John Barnes Walk for just over 6 months. The flat is in a convenient location about 10 mins walk to station and is well serviced by two bus routes which are also both night buses, there is a Sainsburys and Tesco express around the corner which is really handy. The flat itself was bright and my room was a good size double especially for London. George looks after the flat himself hence at least if you have a problem you have a direct line to someone who cares and not an letting agent's answer phone. The only problem I had here was with the washing machine and we had a new one within 2 days so no complaints. I found the landlord to be reasonable, fair and approachable. I would happily recommend George as a landlord, you are guaranteed an honest landlord who cares and looks after his properties and tenants.

George is a great landlord. Really helpful, and quick to act if there are any problems. Definitely the best landlord I've had in London.

George was my landlord for nearly 3 years. During that time I found him to be fair and straightforward. Any change to agreements was always laid-out clearly in consultation with the tenant. The property was kept in good condition with repairs carried out promptly and occasional improvements made (such as installing loft insulation). George demonstrated a good customer-focus, with a genuine interest in ensuring the tenant was happy with the conditions and arrangements. Where requests were made and clearly stated, George would listen and give due consideration; where reasonable, he generally agreed or would give very clear reasons could not, which is exactly what you need from a landlord.
